Gucci

A silk scarf from the late 1980s depicting cards and a wheel of seasons. It features decorative medieval-style inscriptions "GERMAIN NOBLET DIT L’ANDRÉ." Germain Noblet was a famous Parisian playing card manufacturer from the 17th century. "DIT L’ANDRÉ" literally means "known as André." This is an Italian interpretation of the theme of old French cards.
