(1975). An iconic Hermès scarf, held in the permanent collection of the MET Costume Institute in New York. Released in 1975 for an exhibition at this museum featuring Scythian gold, which was unearthed in 1971 by archaeologist Borys Mozolevsky near the city of Ordzhonikidze (modern-day Pokrov, Dnipropetrovsk region). Scythian gold and Tutankhamun's treasures are considered the main finds of the 20th century, and "Les cavaliers d’or" is among the top 10 Hermès scarves of all time.
