Hermès "Golden Horsemen"

An iconic Hermès scarf, held in the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute in New York. It was released in 1975 for an exhibition at the museum featuring Scythian gold, which was unearthed in 1971 by archaeologist Borys Mozolevsky near the city of Ordzhonikidze (modern Pokrov, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast). Scythian gold and Tutankhamun's treasures are considered the main archaeological finds of the 20th century, and "Les cavaliers d’or" is among the top 10 Hermès scarves of all time.
