Hermes “Costumes actuels” Silk Scarf

This special limited edition of the "Costumes actuels" scarf was created specifically by artist Françoise de la Perrier for Hermes in honor of the bicentennial of Ecole Polytechnique. In the center, we see an inscription commemorating the event (all limited-edition scarves were signed with the reason for their release), as well as allegories of the continents: Asia, Africa, Europe, and America. The perimeter of the scarf depicts costumes from various global cultures, both contemporary and historical.
