Gucci "Balloons"

From the 1960s to the early 1980s, Accornero was the head scarf designer at Gucci. However, in 1982, he passed away, and the brand had to invent a new visual language for its silk squares. This gave birth to a completely different type of imagery, of which the hot air balloon scarf is a prominent example.
